Sand tray therapy provides a bridge between an individual’s unique inner reality and the reality of the outer world. It provides a bridge between the unconscious and the conscious aspects of the mind, a bridge into the world of feelings, creating, and centering the self on a journey to the inner world.

ADVANCED SANDTRAY COURSE
This workshop will build on the foundations of Basic Sandtray principles. Sandtray Therapy can be done from major theoretical orientations; it can be used in Supervision to help supervisees; it can facilitate processing between couples; and it can provide a safe mechanism for dealing with trauma. All of these areas will be explored through case studies and discussion.
ADVANCED SANDTRAY PROMPTS
These are Sandtray Therapy prompts I researched and created based on different Counseling Theories, dealing with Trauma and Trauma Focused CBT, working with Couples and Families, dealing with Substance Abuse, and Supervising counselors.
SUPERVISION USING SANDTRAY
Supervision is a process of developing skills and professional identity through supervisor roles of teacher, counselor, and consultant. Sandtray can be a bridge to help teach basic skills, assist in the counselor role of helping deal with issues interfering with counseling, and can aid in the consultant role of the supervisor. Techniques will be discussed with supervision session video clips. This workshop fulfills the requirement for supervision CEU's.
