Workshop Objectives:  Participants will be able to

  • create their own consent for tele-play therapy document.

  • describe how they will prepare for potential technology problems in tele-play therapy.

  • describe two advantages of using videoconferencing for play therapy with young clients and their families.

  • select three strategies from the presentation that they would most likely use with a client in tele-play therapy.  Explain why these strategies were selected.

  • create their own tele-play therapy intervention or describe how they would modify an intervention for use in a tele-play therapy context.

Therapists who would like to receive 3 hours of continuing education credit, should send a document with answers to the objectives above to Lori Copeland at loric@resilienceic.com.  Certificates will be sent through email.
